You'll receive referral forms for blood tests and a chest X-ray, which you can complete at nearby laboratories and radiology centres.

These are essential parts of your immigration medical, and all results are sent directly to us for timely review and processing.

Fast eMedical Submission

We send everything to INZ

After we receive your results, we will prepare your immigration medical and submit it to INZ through the secure eMedical system.

The submission process usually takes no more than seven working days, helping to keep your visa application moving forward without delays.

Which Medical?

Not all visa types require the same immigration medical. What you need depends on your visa category, how long you plan to stay in New Zealand, and where you’ve lived in the last 5 years.

Most applicants will need a medical, a chest X-ray, or both, depending on their visa type, travel history, and intended length of stay.
